Out of consideration for Djurgården's nature and environment, parts of the Djurgårdsvägen road are closed for car traffic occasionally during the summer.
Buses, taxis, vehicles with a valid disabled badge, bicycles and mopeds are allowed to pass.
In 2026, the Djurgårdsvägen road is closed for car traffic 30 april – 27 september on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays between 10.00 and 17.00.
The closure applies from the Djurgårdsbron bridge in the direction onto Djurgården.
